……... and so it BEGINS!! The 2021 @aps_sport ……... and so it BEGINS!!

The 2021 @aps_sport Summer Sport Season commences this Friday afternoon (Cricket & Tennis) and Saturday for Firsts competition. Excitement and anticipation is building as it’s going to be a BIG Summer of #APS Sport with 9 Team Sports and 5 Combined Sports, including the running of the 153rd APS Regatta (Heads of the River) on 20 March 2021 at Nagambie and concluding with the Boys & Girls Swimming, Diving Sports on 23 & 24 March at MSAC!! 
 
Please be aware that there are restrictions to various sport facilities and venues due to the COVID19 protocols that will need to be adheard to. For example, there are NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED (adults or children) in INDOOR venues on APS School sites. Please abide by any instructions provided at each venue (external or internal) for the safe conduct of APS Sport for our community.

Best of luck to all teams at every level for the start and throughout the season from APS Sport - give it your best and represent your school with pride & performance.

ANNOUNCEMENT BY APS HEADS APS Sport is looking f ANNOUNCEMENT BY APS HEADS
 
APS Sport is looking forward to the commencement of the 2021 Summer Sport season on 29/30 January under Victorian Government and DHHS guidelines and sport protocols.
 
QR Code:
All spectators (18 years & over) are requested to sign in via the QR Code that is provided at each APS Sport and school venue.  This will assist with DHHS requirements for contact tracing if required.
 
Spectators:
Spectators will be allowed to view school sport at all OUTDOOR venues on School sites or externally.
 
It has been decided that spectators will not be permitted at APS Sport at INDOOR venues on APS & AGSV School sites.
 
Spectators can attend central / external or council run indoor venues as per venue guidelines.  Some external indoor venues may have their own restrictions that the APS community will need to abide by.
 
The decision of no spectators at indoor APS & AGSV School sites will be reviewed after 15 February.
 
A decision on spectators at the major APS events (Diving, Rowing and Swimming) will be made mid February and will be venue dependant as well as adhering to DHHS recommendations, guidelines and approval.
