All teams below firsts commence next Saturday when we also celebrate 25 years of Girls Sport! Promises to be big!

It’s a BIG day for the @careygrammar this Saturday. Aside from being involved in the first Round of the @aps_sport & AGSV/APS Winter Season Firsts matches, they’re raising awareness & funds for a cause close to their community.

Get behind @careygrammar’s support of Saturday’s #OrangeRound for the @jmbfoundation Fundraiser!

The JMB Foundation provides care & rehabilitation for young suffers of acquired brain injury. Carey Baptist Grammar School has had a long & strong affiliation with the JMB Foundation and this weekend will show its support in raising awareness & funds by wearing the colour orange at this Saturday's APS Sport Round!

Staff, parents & spectators attending Carey fixtures this Saturday are encouraged to show their support by wearing orange & donating when the opportunity arises.

Don't miss the climax to the day with the Carey Boys 1st XVIII take on #TraditionalRivals in Caulfield Grammar School for the JMB Cup!

The match commences at 1pm on the Dunshea Oval at Carey Sports Complex, Bulleen Road Bulleen.

Congrats to @geelonggrammar on winning the @aps_sport Cricket 🏆Premiership for 2024!! 💙💙💙

This was Geelong Grammar’s 11th Cricket Premiership & made it #BacktoBack after winning in 2023!

In a remarkable season, which included a washed out round, some interesting statistics with the bat & ball emerged.

There were an incredible 21 Hundreds scored, 104 Fifties, as well as 2x 7 wicket, 2x 6 wkt, 8x 5 wkt & 16x 4 wkt hauls in only 10 rounds! An outstanding season of schoolboy cricket.

Unsurprisingly there were a number of the leading performances in the APS season.

The leading wicket taker in the #APS was James Rosham from MGS with 27 wickets at an av. of 14.59 with 5/33 vs GC his best & 5/35 vs XC. The second top APS wicket taker was Jez Rigoni, Caul, who collected 24 wickets at 17.92. He snared 7/79 vs GC & 4/32 vs HY his best. Closely followed by GC’s Will Rodda with 24 wickets at 19.29.

Leading batsmen were Alex Turner, BGS (pictured) with 885 runs at an av. of 80.45 including 3x 100’s (167 vs Caul, 150 vs GC & 138 vs WC) & 4x 50’s followed by Chris Kellaway , Caul, who hit 150 vs GC & 4x 50’s on his way to 588 runs at an average of 58.8, closely followed by Ben Wickham, XC, who made 584 runs at an av. of 58.4 with his highest scores of 126 vs HY and 118 vs GGS. He also made 2x 50s in his 10 innings.

This is Haileybury’s 5th Boys Volleyball Premiership since the competition commenced in 2004 and since last winning #BacktoBack titles in 2019/20!

It was a tight tussle at the end with both @haileyburyschool & @caulfieldgs only losing two matches (one to each other) but were still four points clear of third placed @scotchcollegemelbourne.

A strong and consistent season from @haileyburyrendallschool !
